Light On Dark Water

For any eMusic subscribers who may have read the Mozart piano quartet reviews, here are links to four performances of them. I have not heard any of them, but I plan to. I've never been terribly cognizant of or sensitive to the variations in performance which make up much or most of what classical music reviewers talk about, partly for lack of opportunity to hear different ones. eMusic makes that a lot more feasible.

Menuhin Festival Quartet on Naxos

Saloman Quartet + Richard Burnett on Amon Ra This one is on period instruments and sounds radically different even to my unsophisticated ear. Interesting subscriber review there.
