Light On Dark Water

…is most unwelcome. Already the former Hurricane Ida has weakened to tropical storm status, though, which is fortunate, because it’s heading straight for us. I don’t really anticipate serious problems, but it’s always possible, because of where I live, that a tree falling in the right place could cut off both my physical and electronic access to the rest of the world. If that happens you might not hear from me for a couple of days. Just letting you know.

I hope I don’t end up with major grievances against this storm, because my mother’s name was Ida.
