Being a declared foe of the glamour of coffee and all its empty promises, I wouldn’t know.
I take it your wife is of like mind on this subject? It could be a problem if she’s not.
In this respect we are unequally yoked together. One of the many sacrifices entailed in a marriage is that I actually make coffee for her in the morning. “For better, for worse,” as it says.

Yes, especially if he hates the smell. I don’t know if I could cook brussells sprouts for my wife for breakfast. (Not that I’ve ever cooked them at all.)
I find it hard to believe that one would not learn to love the smell of coffee by making it.
I mean, hard to understand. I accept that it has in fact happened in this case, and is just one of life’s many mysteries.
