That’s a pretty good story. I notice that his license was already suspended because he was behind on child support payments. That’s a little like throwing someone in debtor’s prison when they can’t pay back a loan. It is unlikely to help.

It might actually make more sense to throw him in jail than to take his driver’s license. At least in jail he couldn’t spend much money while he wasn’t earning any, which he probably will have a tough time doing without being able to drive (as he doesn’t appear to live in a major metro area).
