I wish I could believe it was satire. I suspect it’s just a symptom of the lack of any coherent notion of what “married” means, though. -
Yes, it’s the reductio ad absurdum. And a symptom of extreme cultural disorientation.

How does THAT work, exactly? -
That’s one of the lines hardest to distinguish from satire.
