Fennesz: Transit

You won't like this. I shouldn't have posted it.

But I find the rueful disintegrating last-days-of-the-West feel very effective: "Our hist'ry dies with Europe…"

  1. This post is perfectly timed because I just saw part of Hillary Clinton’s interview with Lena Dunham in which she’s asked if she’s seen a certain used-to-be-private part of some celebrity’s anatomy and says, no, she missed that, but “Do you think I could get that on YouTube? Good. I’ll look for that.” Our maybe next president. It’s so over.

  2. It seems to capture the mood.

  3. Re: Marianne’s story of Mrs Clinton.
This is the kind of thing which frequently causes me to say “God, save us!”

  4. Maclin, do you have something for this/next (?) week’s author?

  5. Louise, Yes, I wrote something for this week.
Maclin, I have been waiting all day to see what this was about, but haven’t had a chance to listen. I couldn’t stand the buzzing,so I looked up the lyrics. Sad but true. That little blue boat looks familiar.

  6. Mac, you can put me down for Madison Jones for either Oct 25 or Nov 1 — your call. If I happen to get it done earlier I’ll send it along so you have it on hand.

  7. That would be great. Let’s say Oct 25. Thank you.
