Try it. It seems to work pretty well. A few nights ago I finally (!) finished bringing ALL the posts from the old blog over here. I still have a lot of non-blog stuff at lightondarkwater.com to bring over, including about two years' worth of Sunday Night Journals written before I started the blog. But if you're looking for an old blog post, you should be able to find it now. Unfortunately the old comments are not available to the search engine.

    Alas, I’m still fairly far from home, Craig. There’s still a lot of stuff to move, and then I want to point the lightondarkwater.com domain here. Which is going to break a lot of links–all the pre-typepad posts that have pictures in them, for instance, won’t. I doubt I’ll ever fix all those.
    But still, this was a big milestone.

    I meant to congratulate you on getting the archives moved. I can’t imagine why I haven’t gotten around to it yet. And the Search Engine is very nice. Now I can find that post on Brideshead that I was looking for.
