Which reminds me of something I’ve been meaning to ask. You haven’t said anything in a while about the oil spill and I’m assuming that it never came to shore where you are. Am I correct?

Correct. It never got up into the bay in any significant quantities, thank God.
Every morning this week has looked pretty much like this one, some breezier than others. -
The picture looks different on this computer–more natural–still beautiful.

Last Thursday I was running late for class. This never happens because I usually leave work and go to school which leaves me with at least an hour and a half to wait before class begins, but I didn’t go to work last Thursday and left home at the last possible minute, forgetting that the exit for the college was also the exit for the Mid-South Fair.
I was really glad, though, that I didn’t get there on time because as I was walking to the building I saw what was possibly the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. The colors were about like those on this picture as viewed from my work computer (which you will never see) except the pink part reached higher in the sky and the sun was descending from a cloud. I just stood in the parking lot in the incredibly perfect weather enjoying the perfect breeze and the sunset.
