Aftermarket: Mercy

Weekend Music

This is from an album called Southward, another album that I sampled on eMusic only because the art and the title intrigued me, and ended up buying. It consists of old gospel samples mixed with rhythm tracks, synths, and other things. This is probably my favorite track.

Here's the cover:

  1. If I ever want to sell you something, I’ll know just what to put on the front of it.

  2. Well, to catch my eye, at least. That wouldn’t be enough to sell it. There are a whole lot more albums that caught my eye but weren’t bought.

Sounds like some of the gospel-based stuff on Moby’s “Play” and “18” albums.

  4. Exactly. I would have mentioned that if I hadn’t been in a hurry. It’s not as good as Moby’s similar work, but still enjoyable.
