Dogs are indeed gross; however, there is nothing so gross and disturbing to me as that spasmodic heaving, about to heave your guts out thing that cats do just before they present you with a hairball–or worse.

Our inside cat did that about three times in a row in different places a few days ago. But I don’t find that as disgusting as the dogs’ interest. Each of course has its distinctive charms.

Well, our dog was outside, so he never got a chance at the goodies.

And the thing is, whether inside or out, you know dogs have been doing stuff like this and then they want to lick your face.

Desperately long to lick your face. Maybe they’re really not as friendly as they seem.
