These are so funny!

I had one that I wanted to post, but the name of the website was so embarrassing, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. The message itself wasn’t in that vein at all. This is often the case, and I find it curious.

I’ve noticed that, too. You’d think there would be some connection. I really sort of wonder where it all comes from, and who benefits from it, and how successful it is, although I’m not interested enough to research it. Most of it appears to be somewhat shady commerce–fake designer stuff etc.–but I suspect a lot of it is more nefarious than that. If you click their links your computer will silently be incorporated into a Chinese attack network or something.

Well, I made the stupid mistake of clickin on, not one of these links, but the address of one of the sites that visits my blog. It took me to a site that was getting ready to show me a pornographic video, and I couldn’t get out of it. I had to turn the computer off. I felt like such an idiot. I won’t do that again.

Yeah, I had a similar experience once. I don’t even remember whether it was porn or not, just being infuriated when the site locked me in. Hope it didn’t leave any malware on your computer.

Me too.
