Spring Green

It has never been one of my favorite colors, but in recent years has become so. I think the change may have something to do with age. At any rate it now gives me great joy.

  1. I was just looking out the window and talking about the green to Bill yesterday. I wouldn’t wear spring green, or decorate my house with it, but it is wonderful in its rightful place.
In the summer, it gets oppressively green, though.

  2. I’m ok with oppressively green.

  3. By the way I really meant spring greenery, not so much the color itself. Although I actually have a shirt that actually is more or less spring green.

Yes, those delicate first leaves of spring, more lovely than the first blossoms even. I think you may be right about the age thing.

  5. Having thought about it a bit more, I’m sure it’s connected with age for me.
